This full-mouth reconstruction case documents treatment across both arches—from the preoperative condition through extractions, implant placement, and delivery of fixed, chairside 3D-printed provisional arches on the day of surgery. The photographic sequence continues through postoperative day four and the one-month visit.
Clinical photographs below include surgical stages.
Full-arch treatment requires a coordinated surgical and restorative plan, with attention to the remaining dentition, available anatomy, and intended restoration.
Connect surgery and provisionals
The documented sequence includes extractions, implant placement, and chairside 3D-printed, characterized provisional arches delivered on the day of surgery.
Document the early course
Immediate postoperative imaging, day-four photographs, and one-month follow-up show distinct stages of this patient’s care.
Tooth #8 • Surgical replacement through final crown delivery at six months
Following facial trauma and fracture of tooth #8, Dr. Hunt extracted the damaged tooth, placed an implant immediately, and delivered a fixed aesthetic provisional crown during the same surgical visit. The patient left with a temporary tooth secured in place while treatment progressed toward final crown delivery six months later.

Appearance at final crown delivery
Photographs were taken at different treatment visits and from different angles. Lighting and color may vary.
The starting point
A fractured anterior tooth created both a treatment need and an immediate concern about the visible space in the smile.
The treatment sequence
Extraction was followed by immediate implant placement and a fixed provisional crown during the same visit. Definitive crown delivery followed six months later.
What the record shows
The photographs document the original fracture, a tooth in place on the day of surgery, and the appearance at definitive crown delivery. Preoperative and immediate postoperative radiographs accompany the sequence.
DAY OF SURGERY
A fixed provisional for the healing phase.
In this case, the patient left the surgical visit with a fixed temporary crown rather than a removable tooth replacement. The provisional was part of a staged treatment plan, not the final restoration.
Immediate implant placement and a fixed same-day provisional are options for appropriately selected cases, not a guarantee for every patient.
03 / IMMEDIATE ZIRCONIA IMPLANT
Loss of the Clinical Crown: Extraction, Immediate Implant Placement & Same-Day Aesthetic Provisional
Severe decay and loss of the clinical crown left tooth #9 unrestorable. Dr. Hunt extracted the tooth, immediately placed a Swiss Dental Solutions one-piece zirconia implant, and delivered a fixed aesthetic provisional crown during the same appointment.
Treatment stage shown: day of surgery, with a fixed provisional crown.
Before treatment

Day of surgery
After extraction and immediate zirconia implant placement.
Following traumatic fracture of tooth #8, Dr. Hunt performed extraction, immediate placement of a Swiss Dental Solutions one-piece zirconia implant, grafting, and same-day fixed provisionalization. The final photograph shows the two-week postoperative visit for suture removal.

THE APPROACH BEHIND THE CASES
Thoughtful planning. Attention to tissue. Continuity of care.
Dr. Hunt’s approach connects the intended restoration with the surgical plan, the patient’s health, and the realities of care within the participating practice.
Restoratively driven decisions
Examination, imaging, available bone and soft tissue, and the intended restoration guide case selection and treatment sequencing. Immediate placement or provisionalization is considered when appropriate; not every site is suitable.
Site-specific tissue management
Care includes attention to preserving surrounding tissues, debriding the surgical site, and selecting grafting and membrane approaches for the clinical situation. Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), prepared from the patient’s own blood, may be incorporated into the plan.
Individual material selection
Dr. Hunt uses titanium and zirconia implants according to the patient’s needs, the treatment site, and informed material preferences. Grafts and membranes are selected for the available bone and soft tissue; no single material guarantees an outcome.
Preparation and follow-through
Vanguard brings Dr. Hunt, his surgical assistant, instruments, and surgical equipment into participating practices. Preoperative coordination, surgical and anesthesia documentation, and postoperative support help connect each stage of care with the office team.
EXPERIENCE SHARED WITH PRACTICES
Clinical care. Practical mentorship.
Dr. Hunt has mentored clinicians and office teams in implant placement, full-arch reconstruction with same-day 3D-printed provisionals, complex extractions, and impacted wisdom tooth surgery.
His experience also includes mentoring clinicians on IV moderate sedation approaches and helping offices prepare for anesthesia site inspections, including anesthesia-cart organization and stocking.
Additional clinical scope
Complex extractions and impacted wisdom teeth · Coronectomy when clinically appropriate · Bone grafting · Vertical and lateral sinus augmentation · Oral and IV moderate sedation for appropriately selected patients
Mentorship and office-readiness support do not replace required education, licensure, permits, inspections, or the responsibilities of the treating clinician. Treatment and sedation depend on patient selection and an appropriate care setting.
